What is Reiki?
Reiki is an ancient form of energy healing, in fact Reiki predates both Buddhism and Christianity. Modern Reiki was born in 1865 by Dr. Mikao Usui.
Reiki translates to universal like force, it is an energy that is always all around us and is considered unconditional love.
What are the benefits of Reiki?
Reiki is used to balance the mind, body, and spirit. Many who experience the healing properties of Reiki report experiencing a deep sense of calm, reduced anxiety, positive changes in symptoms of depression, and physical healing.
What can a participant expect?
Recipients report feeling warm, tingling throughout the body, deep relaxation, reduced sensations of physical pain, and at times a deep emotional release. Many recipients notice that the practitioner’s hands get very warm. The practitioner may gently place their hands against different points of your body, or sometimes hover their hands just above the body.
My name is Kayla Yuzdepski. I have lived in Alberta my whole life and during that time I have pursued my lifelong passion for learning. I earned my diploma in Child and Youth Care Counselling, my degree in Child and Youth Care, a 200-hour yoga teacher training, 50 hour yin yoga training, and Master Reiki.
I believe that we can heal our bodies, minds, and spirits
through healthy connections, great food, nature, and gentle body movement.
I am excited for the opportunity to serve my community. I have personally experienced the benefits of Reiki and can’t wait to share those benefits with all who are interested. I believe that
Reiki helps us connect with the deeper parts of ourselves and provides profound healing and shifts in our lives.
